Chance Encounters (逢着, Hōchaku) is Episode 20 of Hakkenden: Tōhō Hakken Ibun anime series, which aired on August 18, 2013.

Summary

Dousetsu comes to the capital in search of his sister. He meets Shino in the Konaya inn. Genpachi, Kobunga and Keno offer to help. Kobungo ends up making a pact with a demon for searching for a red-haired girl unknowingly.

Manga to Anime Differences

• Anime almost completely skips some of Volume 10 and Volume 11's events, including, but not limiting to, returning home and meeting Kenta again, incident with Yukihime and Chudai and Rio's talk with Shino about Shino's wish. Instead, it goes right to Volume 12's red hair women's case and Hamaji's and Dosetsu's reunion.
